I own a 1962 B61T with an endt 673. Shop was idling truck checking for air leaks when motor shut down on its own as if you had shut it down. No type of unusual noise noticed.  When trying to restart would not crank over and battery terminals  became red hot. Further inspection determined that something had locked up everything including the drive train. Tried pulling but rear tires were locked.Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

anyone check to see if engine had oil i it. engine seized ??  a diesel will not just shut down without cause, thanks JoJo , checking for air leaks with engine running ??  normally a mechanic will put shop air to system so as to listen for leaks . hope this shop is reputable / not looking for a customer screwing.
