Well since it has an electric throttle pedal, and therefore no injection pump. You could put a fuse switch in the dash and on the shifter and a switch on the clutch pedal. You will just shut it off when not needed. You wont be able to just drive or shift with it on, because of how the clutch switch will work

Yeah, Jakes have a negative horsepower rating. Being how much horsepower they eat up. I've seen the curves long ago, and I know down at like 850 they are really just making noise. The curve is pretty flat. Here is a sample of one

sure glad people like yourself are out there bringing old people like myself up to date. I forgot about the no injection pump/ mechanical pedal linkage. still don't see a need for lower then 850 jake. around here all you hear are the big pete/kw triaxles using the jake for shifting/making noise then actual slow down. like the 4 wheel tin cans with the ying ying mufflers.
