We have 2 new 2009 Mack GU713 straight trucks. We have mixer boxes (feedlot) on them. They have the MP7-405M engines in them.

We are experiencing a lot of trouble with having to do "burnouts" or regenerate everyday or 2 to 3 times per day.

Due to the stop and go of our feedtrucks, we do not generate enough heat or constant speed to do the burnouts on the go.

Therefore, we have to stop for 30-40 minutes to do a burnout, which slows the feeding process considerably.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem??

I found on this site: That Mack has 2 different DPF's a Fleetgaurd and a Emcon.

Sounds like the Emcon is the one that would work best for our application.

But, according to our Serv. Tech the Emcon is not available on our model of truck.

Even being able to do a burnout when we want to.. not when needed would be a improvement.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
