For the 673 engine what pressure cap poundage was or is used for the 673 with standard 48 quart radiator? I bought a 7lb. as was told by the NAPA truck parts person. The MACK Dealer said 10lb. Can someone clear this up for me?

The B model back in the mid 60 used a 5 or 7 lb cap. The 10 lb will not hurt the engine but may be too much for the rad. and heater.

I'll bet a 37 pound radiator cap would keep that coolant in there. Just place a 30 pound cinder block on top of the 7 pound radiator cap, and your problem is solved.

See, the solution is quite easy.

Hope you find this solution useful.

If it were my B model, I think I'd use the seven pound cap and be done with it.

You would be great behind a parts counter at the local Auto Zone. And I also should build a fire under the truck to get the coolant and oil hot so it will start easier. LOL.............. That solution uses the same mentality that the average AutoZone employee possesses.

I don't "darken their doorstep" because you only get paid to do a job once. Re-doing the same job because parts fail prematurely is the reasoning behind that statement.
