To really know for sure you would have to locate the person you purchased the truck from since alot of these air valves have been updated to the newer versions. As for the bracket, anybody's guess. If it's not rubbing on any moving mass then, it's your option to leave it on or take it off. Like Packer said, the Bendix site is a great resource. Most of these trucks valves have to be traced to get to the problem. Maybe someone else can explain this better.

No, I haven't gotten down there yet.

Seems that the little things get in the way of the big things.

He's ready to sale, but I may not be in a position to buy!

I haven't given up yet but it may be a week or two (or three) to get down there

and check it out.

Might won't to stay ahead of the game before they leave no forwarding address. Anyway we all have part interest in it now. I laid claim to the engine. By the way, don't ever sweat the small stuff. And for the big stuff, their ain't no big stuff. Think positive, you are only the BIG STUFF!!!!! Get that truck, don't let that truck get you!
