Long time baseball fans will remember Mark "The Bird" Fidrych as the pitcher for the Detroit Tigers. After retiring due to injuries he moved back home to Mass and bought a dump truck and trucked the rest of his life. There was an artical in Bulldog about him back in the late '90's. I believe he was working on "The Big Dig" at the time. It appears he died while working on his dump truck at home.

Yes, I remember him. Didn't know he went into trucking though. :(

Producer of poorly photo-chopped pictures since 1999.

I heard about him dying under the truck the other day. News wasn't real clear on what happened. Sounded like truck rolled or something fell on him. Like I said the news was not accurate. Did not know about him being a Mack fan. My prayers are with his family as I have had my share of misfortune this year.

If I drink because of work, why can't I drink at work?
