trashey3 Posted May 19, 2009 Share Posted May 19, 2009 My brake lights will be off however when I apply the brakes the lights do not go back off. The air pressure is staying on the line to the brake pressure switch until I shut the truck off and bleed off the air pressure, then they go off. What I can't figure out is why it is doing this unless it could be the brake foot valve. Anybody out there ever come across this before? Please help! David Posted May 20, 2009 Share Posted May 20, 2009 Pull up on the pedal and see if the lights go off. If so, pull the pin, buff it up, run a drill through the holes and put it back together. Over time the steel pin and aluminum pedal don't get along with each other very well. Mike Posted May 20, 2009 Share Posted May 20, 2009 Yea an i've even known where a dried up bugger can get under them trolley's and make em stick open.......and you can have a real nightmare when a piece of dried up bubblegum gets under one. So now we carry a blankie with us.
