I have a 2002 e7 350 in a log truck. This truck did not have a jake ,so we put a factory jake on . From day one when you put the jake on hi it hitches and jurks the hole drive train. We took it back to dealer and all they could see was valves needed adjustment. That didn't help. Any ideas???

How much horse power is the engine putting out.? Because jake brake work by releasing engine compression. Using the engine as a brake. So this in mine the system you have my be at fault.
